Independent salespeople, support operators, and small teams managing a limited number of WhatsApp accounts.
Standalone plugin
WhatsApp Web plugin for faster daily operations—without a full helpdesk deployment
Yes, the plugin works on its own. After installation and license activation, WslinkDesk adds templates, quick replies, scheduled activities, rule-based replies, privacy controls, exports, and backups directly to WhatsApp Web without requiring the complete customer service system.
Business data stays in the current browser by default. Scheduled work requires the signed-in WhatsApp Web tab and browser to remain available. Shared CRM, team assignment, and centralized audit require the customer service system.
When the standalone plugin is enough
The plugin is the lighter starting point when WhatsApp Web remains the main workspace, account volume is limited, and the team does not yet need a shared inbox or central CRM. It enhances the current interface instead of replacing it.
What the plugin is responsible for
The extension reads the currently signed-in WhatsApp Web context and performs actions explicitly started by the user or permitted by configured rules.
- Reuse text, media, file, and contact-card templates
- Run immediate or scheduled activities for consented audiences
- Handle common keywords and events with controlled reply rules
- Keep settings locally with export, backup, and restore support
When to add the customer service system
Connect the plugin to WslinkDesk when duplicate replies, cross-account missed messages, fragmented customer records, poor handoffs, or centralized permissions and audit become operational problems.
Frequently asked questions
Must the plugin connect to the customer service backend?
No. Plugin licenses activate independently. A backend is required only for shared inboxes, team CRM, assignment, and centralized governance.
Will scheduled tasks run after the browser closes?
Not reliably. Standalone scheduling depends on the browser and signed-in WhatsApp Web tab remaining available.
Does the plugin bypass WhatsApp restrictions?
No. It improves authorized workflows; account use must still follow WhatsApp rules and applicable law, and WslinkDesk does not promise to evade platform controls.
